Young singer-actor Elmo Magalona was named Yahoo! OMG! Awards Male Performer of the Year during the star-studded awarding ceremonies at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on July 19, 2013.

Elmo bested other well-known and award-winning performers like Christian Bautista, Jovit Baldivino, Gloc-9 and Abra.

Meanwhile, Elmo's on screen partner Julie Anne San Jose won big last night. Kapuso award winning recording artist Julie Anne San Jose bested Sarah Geronimo, Angeline Quinto, Charice and Rachelle Ann Go when she was named this year's Yahoo! OMG! Awards Female Performer of the Year during the star-studded awarding ceremonies at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on July 19, 2013.

Hosted by Edu Manzano and Billy Crawford, celebrities spotted in the event are Kapuso stars Marian Rivera, Lovi Poe, Rocco Nacino, Solenn Heussaff, Tim Yap, Bea Binene, and Ryzza Mae Dizon. Kapatid stars present in the event are AlbieCasino, Eula Caballero, Victor Silayan, Akihiro Blanco, Chanel Morales, Tuesday Vargas, Vin Abrenica and Sophie Albert. Kapamilya stars who graced the awarding ceremony include Matteo Guidicelli, Sam Concepcion, Tippy Dos Santos, Marco Gumabao and Enrique Gil.
