After losing to the Vietnam contingent, the all-star V-League team lead by Jaja and Dindin Santiago, Alyssa Valdez went on to beat Myanmar in 4 sets. This is the country's first international win in eight year's time.In the opening set, the Philippines was leading 16-14 but gave the next set away, 25-10. The V-League all-stars then ended the streak for the Myanmar when they won the last three sets with 25-14, 25-10 and 25-17.
It was the deadly combination of Maika Ortiz and Jaja Santiago (MB), Rubie de Leon (ST), Dindin Santiago and Alyssa Valdez (OH) and Suzanne Roces (OP) that started the game. Dindin lead the scorers line up with 16. Valdez earned 15 while Jaja 12.
