The much-awaited announcements of Binibining Pilipinas 2014 Official Candidates is being held todat at Gloriamaris, Araneta Center January 27.

According to sources, there are some official candidates who were not able to submit the requirements necessary to enter the competition and this is the reason why it was postponed from last week.

Today, the much-awaited announcements of Binibining Pilipinas 2014 Official Candidates was cancelled and re-scheduled on Saturday, January 25.

According to sources, there are some official candidates who were not able to submit the requirements necessary to enter the competition.

We believe that one of these is Diana Arevalo and probably Joy Diaz - both of which have been out of the country last year.


However, pageant fanatics from all over the country are almost 100% sure that the following girls will make it past the screening:

 Today, the initial screening of the Binibining Pilipinas 2014 Official Candidates was held. Out of all the aspirants, only seventy girls were called back.

Tomorrow, we will know the final 30-40 girls who will comprise this year's Binibining Pilipinas 2014 Official candidates.

According to sources, looks like Binibining Pilipinas 2014 is going to be a very competitive year with a roster of very beautiful ladies - including last year's runner-ups Pia Wurtzbach and Kimverlyn Suiza (Miss Philippines-Air 2013, runner-up to Angelee delos Reyes).




Statuesque Kimverlyn Suiza foregone her Miss Philippines-Air title because it's her last pageant year. Last year, she captivated everyone's hearts with her angelic face and vavavoom physique. Adding to that, her competitive edge is her communication skills.

However, a lot of critics are going gaga over her styling lately. The Audrey Hepburn look worked well, except for her eyebrows. Will she be able to snag the crown this year?

On the other hand, much to the disappointment of her fans last year, Pia Romero Wurtzbach is coming with a vengeance. Nothing can stop this girl from reaching her dream of becoming Miss Universe-Philippines 2014.

That could be the reason why she's trying to look more of a Filipino morena, with the tanned skin she sported at the first screening. Many are dismayed with her body right now, but that beautiful face plus that rocking interview skills and catwalk could be her edge over the others.

So, who are you rooting for? Pia Wurtzbach or Kimverlyn Suiza? We'll find out on March 30, 2014 who will win.
