Ex Pinoy Big Brother Housemate, 2nd Big Winner Riza Santos Wins Miss Universe Canada 2013

Looks like the Philippines will have two bets to the Miss Universe 2013 Competition this coming December. Ex PBB housemate and Will Devaughn's ex, Riza Santos, just won the Miss Universe Canada 2013 competition after representing Calgary in the said competition last Sunday.


Initially, Riza was announced as the first runner-up while Denise Garrido who is the actual third runner-up was proclaimed the winner.

Garrido is from Ontario. The contestant accepted the error committed by the Beauties of Canada (BOC) tabulation committee.
The organization had named Santos to be the real winner.

Riza Santos had appeared not only in PBB but also in a movie with Vic Sotto and some shows in the Kapamilya network. Santos is born with Filipino parents. Santos was surprised to find out about it tonight. She had also represented Canada in Miss Earth 2006 and Miss World 2011.

Santos will be competing against Binibining Pilipinas 2013 winner Miss Universe Philippines Ariella Arida.
