Urban Spoon, A taste of Asia, the newest food lovers destinantion this side of metro tendered a well attended Victory Press Conference to the newest international pageant achiever, Ms. Annalie "Ali" Forbes., who recently won as 3rd runner-up at the first ever Miss Grand International Pageant held in Bangkok, Thailand last November 19, 2013.
"We are very happy and honored to be visited again by Ms. Ali Forbes after her successful pageant stint in Bangkok, Thailand. We wish her all the best in all her future endeavors". Says Ms. Michelle T. Defensor, the President and CEO of Urban Spoon.
"I feel so lucky and blessed to be honored as 3rd runner-up from among 71 candidates of Miss Grand International , at least naipagpatuloy ko ang winning streak ng Pilipinas this year sa international pageant competition. Inaalay ko ang tagumpay na ito sa lahat ng Pilipino, lalo na sa mga nasalanta ng Typhiin Yolanda. Now I'm back I'm very much willing to share my time in helping our countrymen in the relief operation and rehabilitation efforts". Quips Ali.
The Victory Press Conference coincides with the Official media launching of RUNWAY for Hope 2, A Charity Fashion Gala for the benefits of Typhoon Yolanda victims. Organized and to be participated by top models and beauty queens, the second year of Runway for Hope is a collective effort of individuals who share time and resources in order to help calamity stricken areas of the Visayas. Fashion designers, Eventologist, Make-Up Artisits and Beauty Queens, from various pageant institutions will gather to support this event. Which will be held on December 8, 2013 at ACE Hotel and Suites in Pasig City.
