Charice Commits Suicide, Slash Wrist - Showbiz Police

SHOWBIZ POLICEreported on Saturday that international singing sensation Charice Pempengco has committed suicide.The suicidal attempt was confirmed by Charice’s grandmother Mrs. Teresita Relucio in an interview by Cristy Fermin on Showbiz Police. Relucio revealed that the former Glee star slashed her wrist due to financial problems.

CF: Nanay si Charice po ay isang batang matapang sa tingin pero alam ko ang puso nya ay mamon.

Totoo po bang naglaslas siya ng pulso kamakailan lang?

TR: Yun ang sinabi nila saken.

Hindi kayang tangapin ni Charice yung, wala na siyang pera.

CF: Hindi po ba nya kayang diretchuhin si Raquel kung saan napunta angkanyang ipon?

Wala syang pag-aari. Lahat yon kinita ni Raquel sa pag P-PA niya. Ano pang ilalaban ng bata?

CF: So wala pong pera si [Charice] ngayon?

TR: Oo wala.

Nakikita ko hindi na masyadong mainit ang tao sa bata. Naawa ako.

Baka hindi makayanan ng bata ang pagkabigo niya sa buhay niya kung anong gawin niya.

Kinatatakutan ko lang Raquel, kung ikaw ay nawalan ng anak, baka magsabi sabi ka.

Charice's Mother, Raquel, Was Lesbian, Too!

Turns out there's a twist in the story! Charice is currently regaining her popularity after coming out of the closet and what a shocking coincidence is that her mother is actually, a lesbian, too! Admitted by her grandmother, Charice has nothing to be ashamed of as her mother Raquel Pempengco was into relationship and affairs with women in the past.

Her grandmother told her, there ain't a thing to blame about her preference as Raquel had also taken girls in their home.

Raquel later on confirmed the news and said her mother had wanted her to marry and have kids so she got into a wedlock with Charice's father, the late Ricky Pempengco. When the grandmother found out how irresponsible and abusive Ricky was, she took them away from him and helped Raquel raise her kids.

Last week, Charice admitted she was lesbian. And her showbiz crush? Sarah Geronimo.

Charice is Lesbian: Charice Pempengco Admits "Tomboy Ako!" in the Buzz Interview Exclusive Video

Charice admits she’s lesbian, says Alyssa Quijano is an inspiration during her exclusive tell-all interview with The Buzz aired Sunday, June 2, 2013.

After a long silence and to put an end to speculations regarding her sexual preference that have been going around in social media, Pinay singing sensation Charice Pempengo finally admits she’s a lesbian during an interview with The Buzz aired Sunday.

An emotional Charice admits, “Opo, tomboy po ako,” when asked about her sexual orientation by The Buzz host Boy Abunda. “Mayroon po akong chance na gawin lahat ng ito internationally. Pero pinili ko po dito dahil malaki ang utang na loob ko sa mga Pilipino dahil na-feel ko na gusto ko na sila ‘yung makaalam kung ano ako, or kung sino ako,” the former “Glee” star said.

She also apologized to her family, especially to her mom and brother, who have previously expressed their disappointment over her ‘transformations’, as well as to other people and her fans who expressed dismay over her sexual preference.

“Gusto kong humingi ng patawad sa mga hindi nakaintindi. Sa mga hindi makakaunawa, sa mga hindi ako matatanggap, sorry po. Naiintindihan ko po kayo. Pero sa mga tanggap po ako, maraming, maraming salamat po,”

Charice said.

“Sorry, Mommy, Carl pero ito ako. Proud ako sa sarili ko at mahal ko ang sarili ko kaya ko ginagawa ito. Sa mga fans ko na alam ko marami sa inyo disappointed. Alam ko nga siguro ‘yung iba sa inyo tatalikuran na ako, sorry. Alam niyo na sincere akong tao. From the bottom of my heart, sorry. Naiintindihan ko kayo,” she added. The singer also admits she and her family are not in good terms, but denies her recent transformations are not a form of rebellion.

Early last month, Charice was a subject of controversy anew when she allegedly eloped with X Factor Philippines’ finalist and AKA Jam member Alyssa Quijano. When asked about her current relationship with Quijano, the singer said, “Hindi ko po alam ang sasabihin ko diyan. Umalis ako ng bahay pero alam ko, alam din naman ni mommy noon na darating sa point na iyon. Umalis ako hindi dahil ayaw ko na doon. Umalis ako dahil iyon ang kailangan kong gawin.” She also admits that Quijano is an inspiration. “She’s an inspiration. She’s a very special person.”

On the question if she loves Quijano, the singer said: “Sana mabuksan niyo ang puso ko para makita niyo. Malakas ang tibok.”

Furthermore, Charice admitted she is hoping to marry in the future.

She is set to appear at Ellen DeGeneres show next month for another series of shows.
