The advantages of using this toner are:

• The fragrant Rose scent and instantly calms me
• The moisturising toner that cleanse my face and shrinks the pores

 The disadvantage however are:

• The toner is not moisturising enough for me
• I have to pour more onto the cotton pad with each usage so that it is enough to cover my face and neck.

I like the design of the toner bottle, and it is practical for home usage. I might pour the toner to a smaller bottle for travelling instead of bringing the whole bottle. It is however value for money.
I like that the products comes with a message in a capsule which is pretty cute too!

My answer: I don't think that using cotton pad to apply toner will contribute to better absorption. It is more hygienic to use cotton pads that hands. I do use my hands to apply toner in the past.
Thayer's Rose Petal Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera Toner has a flowery scent(Rose), the toner is transparent, the texture is smooth. After applying, there's a slight stickiness on my face that indicates the toner is moisturising to skin.
