Miss World Philippines 2013 | Top Picks, Who Will Win Miss World Philippines 2013?

Two days more and we'll find out who will be our representative to Jakarta, Indonesia for this year's Miss World Philippines 2013.

Megan Lynne Young won the Miss World Philippines-Laguna award while Janicel Lubina won Miss World Philippines-Traveller. Maria Paula Bianca Paz, along with Patricia Alas won Heart of Miss World Philippines award. Another frontrunner, Patricia Lae Ejercitado, wins Miss Prudential.

The coronation night will be held at Solaire Resorts and Casino on Sunday, August 16, with a live telecast at GMA 7.

Unexpectedly, one of the candidates expected to perform well in the pageant dropped out of the competition. Nicole Marable is now out.

Now, who's on the running to become this year's winner? Here's a list.

The one to beat. Megan Lynne Young struts her stuff at the Gala night of Miss World Philippines 2013 held yesterday.

Samantha Bernardo - Palawan's finest. This girl rocked the Talent competition. With grace and elegance, she walks and slides in the catwalk really well.

Patricia Lae Ejercitado - The face that everyone loves. This girl is in it to win it.

2nd Princess
Maria Paula Bianca Paz - One of the best bodies in the competition. Got one of the best communication skills, too.

1st Princess
Janicel Lubina - Probably has the best complexion, best walk and figure in the bunch. This girl just needs to ace the Q&A round.

Miss World Philippines 2013 Top Picks, Possible Winners, Official Candidates - Will Megan Young Win The Crown?

This year, it will be a battle of the veterans for Miss World Philippines 2013. But no wonder, a newbie might still snatch the scrown - in the name of the celebrity Megan Lynne Young!

However, competition will be tougher for this Aces and Queens sole bet to win the crown. Pageant enthusiasts didn't expect for some stunners in this year's role of queen wanna-be's.

Some of the expected winners include Miss Slimmer's World Philippines winner Janicel Lubina, which a lot of pageant enthusiasts would love to see in Miss Universe 2014 stage; UP Los Banos alumni Mercegrace Racquel, Binibining Pilipinas former candidates Patricia Lae Ejercitado and Nicole Marable (who faced Janine Tugonon in 2012), Ria Rabajante, KC Cajandig and Zandra Flores (who faced Ariella Arida in 2013).

Flores just came from Top 10 finish at the Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia Pacific 2013 with Vina Openiano, another possible Top 10 finalist in this year's competition.

Maria Paula Bianca Paz, a stunner from Shamcey Supsup's Binibining Pilipinas 2011 batch, who became 3rd Runner-up at Miss World Philippines 2011 won by Gwendoline Ruais is trying her luck again to become our representative to Indonesia.

But this year's going to be a great treat as we have very fresh faces such as Bianca Saldua, Samantha Bernardo and Paula Estenzo whom both can make it to the Top 10 Semifinalists.

Earlier today, the 26 Official Candidates have been revealed.

Miss World Philippines will be returning to GMA 7 this year. The live telecast will be on August 18 and the winner will be sent to Bali, Indonesia on September 28.

Miss World Philippines 2013: Will Megan Young Succeed Queenierich Rehman?

On August 18th, Queenierich Rehman will pass on her Miss World Philippines 2012 crown and title to a new beauty queen. Will she be Megan Young? Probably the most anticipated candidate in this lineup of chicas.

Young was rumored to screen at Bb. Pilipinas 2013 Gold where Ara Arida, fellow Aces & Queens girl won. But she was disqualified due to her Rogue nude photoshoot. Like the past two years, pageant enthusiasts have hyped their favorite candidates and Megan Young is the frontrunner, as of now. The list of official candidates will be finalized on July 29 with the likes of former Binibinis KC Cajandig, Ria Rabajante and Patricia Lae Ejercitado joining the mix.

The fact that A&Q only sent one delegate from their camp (which is Megan) says a lot. Even the two other prominent camps didn't send their delegates!

Gorgeous and well-trained, will Megan Young's photo above be prophetic? Will she be Miss World Philippines 2013? The winner of the pageant will represent the country in Miss World 2013 on September 24 to be held in Indonesia.
