This coming Monday, January 27, primetime queens Angel Locsin and Marian Rivera will be gracing our TV screens head-to-head with their most sought after comeback.

Angel Locsin will be on-screen primetime after almost two years with her hit vampire series in 2012. Now, she plays as The Legal Wife beside Jericho Rosales, JC de Vera and Maja Salvador.

On the other hand, Marian Rivera is poised to bank on her cursed beauty for her soap Carmela Ang Pinakamagandang Babae sa Mundong Ibabaw.

Angel Locsin Admits She's Still In-Love with Luis Manzano

In an interview last Sunday, Angel Locsin revealed that she's still in love with her ex boyfriend Luis Manzano as she feels that she wants to be with him, and that's why she told Buzz ng Bayan that she thinks she still love him.

However, The Legal Wife starrer Angel Locsin denied the rumors that Lucky and her are now together as a couple.

"Wala pa pong balikan na nangyayari. As of now, we’re happy, nag-eenjoy kami sa isa’t-isa at siguro mas nagiging honest kami sa isa’t-isa." she said.

Adding to that, "Hindi ako nagtatago pero may mga bagay lang talaga na inaayos kami. Kakausapin niya ‘yung daddy ko sana maging maayos ‘yung pag-uusap. Si daddy, laging may communication kasi kay Luis ng hindi ko alam at isa iyon sa mga naa-appreciate ko kay Luis kasi very consistent siya. Kahit hindi kami nagkikita o nag-uusap pero ‘yung pakikisama sa mga taong nagging malapit din naman sa kanya noon, hindi naman niya pinabayaan.”

Angel Locsin Performs Ninang Dance on "Its Showtime"; Anne Curtis Calls Angel Locsin "Lukring"

One of the newest additions in the It's Showtime cast is the primetime queen, Angel Locsin. On her first day in the show, she performed the all-new Angel Locsin brand - the Ninang Dance.

July 27 marks her first day of hosting in the ABS-CBN noontime variety show. So when the audience told her to give a sample, the Kapamilya queen performed the Ninang Dance, as Anne Curtis, Billy Crawford, Karylle, Vhong Navarro and others watch her.

Angel Locsin clarified she will be hosting It's Showtime every weekend citing she'll be testing the waters first. She asked people to bear with her as this is her first time to host a TV program.

The battle between this generation's biggest rival in Philippine showbiz continues.

Kapuso primetime queen Marian Rivera and Kapamilya award-winning actressAngel Locsin were among two of the most voted stars in the recently concludedYahoo! OMG! Awards online and text poll. And prior to last night's announcement of winners, fans were agilely waiting on who's who among these two big stars triumphin their categories.

And it was finally told...

For second year in a row, Angel took home the Actress of the Year award beating Marian and other nominees that include Anne Curtis, Bea Alonzo and Jodi Sta. Maria.

Total vote counts:

Angel Locsin - 263,220 votes
Marian Rivera - 245,179 votes
Anne Curtis - 60,627 votes
Jodi Sta. Maria - 49,545 votes
Bea Alonzo - 18,961 votes

The Celebrity of the Year award, on the other hand, favored Marian instead of Angel and other nominees Anne Curtis, Sarah Geronimo and Jodi Sta. Maria and Richard Yap.

Marian Rivera - 182,744 votes
Sarah Geronimo - 178,077 votes
Richard Yap and Jodi Sta. Maria - 79,515 votes

Angel Locsin Acting Awards, Better than Being FHM's Sexiest

Both Dingdong Dantes and Phil Younghusband are equally proud of their girlfriends Marian Rivera and Angel Locsin, who are considered this generations Vilma Santos and Nora Aunor as far as their celebrity status are concern.

But while Dingdong lauds Marian for being this year's sexiest woman of FHM Philippines, Phil believes that Angel's acting awards are way better than her FHM sexiest ranking.

In his interview with ABS-CBN News that was aired on Wednesday, July 10, Phil said he wouldn't mind if his girlfriend only ranked third in the said fan-based poll of the popular men's magazine.

"Well, for me, Angel's winning the acting awards, which I think for her, is something. For me, I think excelling and success in your own craft, in your own profession is one of the best things to be proud of.” Phil said.

"For me, she's No. 1, no matter what happens. I think the acting awards are the best thing for her." the Azkals member added.

Angel Locsin, Jericho Rosales Topbills Hanggang Kailan Kita Mamahalin

Multi-awarded actors Jericho Rosales and Angel Locsin unite in ABS-CBN's upcoming primetime soap "Hanggang Kailan Kita Mamahalin".

Joining them is another award-winning actress Maja Salvador replacing Lovi Poe who renewed contract with GMA-7 and "Galema" star Andi Eigenmann in this project to be helmed by Rory Quintos and Dado Lumibao.
